My first car was a 1970 Ford Fairlane 2-door.

Before anyone goes: "wow, those were classic muscle cars." mine was in bad shape, a slant six that could barely cruise at highway speed.
A better picture was closer to this:

I had to pay someone to take it away when it failed

None of the 1970's AMC (other than the Javelin and AMX of course) were attractive cars. The pic below shows a car exactly like my first one, color and all. Needless to say, I didn't get a bunch of dates the 6 months I owned that car, lol.

Gremlin drivers made fun of Pacer drivers. The list of cars that Gremlin drivers could make fun of was a short one.

Did you ever see a movie called The Adventures of Ford Fairlane (the Rock n Roll Detective)?
Very cheesy and ridiculous, but I liked it.
And it was the first time I ever saw Andrew Dice Clay :)

Since we have been talking about AMC cars in here, I thought I would show y'all what I think is the sexiest AMC of all time, the Ring Bros Javelin AMX. Amazing style, lots of custom and carbon fiber parts.

I would buy one of those. I like that out of all the muscle cars I've seen.

I have seen that movie. I actually remember his stand up fondly, was stupid but funny. My wife hates him so it is forbidden in my house.
