hey guys
I'm new here. I just wonder should I buy the ak240 (1000 for brand new) and ak320 for 1800. I want to pair it with se5way ult(which I didnt order yet). I read all the post here find out some people say the ak320 is better than the ak240 some say the opposite. Cant make my mind now.please help.(the 380 is out my range or any other suggestion?)

AK240 is a good start for $1000.  IMO the differences between the two don't worth $800.

I had both the 240 and 380.  The 240 sounded a little better than the 380.   The 380 has the ability to get Pandora and other streaming music.  Unless you want to stream music I would get the AK 240.

Maybe it was just me but if you can't find "Store", with the new FW UI, it's probably scrolled off the Home Screen. Now options (Songs, Albums, Artists, etc) scroll up. I really like the new Home Screen look, no more looking through a Letter Box at the Album Artwork and having all of the aforementioned options clutter up the bottom of the screen. But of course, best of all, Tidal is supported on the AK240.

I'm surprised by the dearth of comments for FW 1.35. Obviously, Tidal support was the star of the show, so if you're not a subscriber, then who cares but IMO, the UI Home Screen improvement also warrants praise. You can scroll, little or never used options (Store and Folder), off the Home Screen and have a full view of artwork. It looks much cleaner and less cramped. There are also the under the hood improvements that I'm sure enhances stability. Kudos to Astell&Kerns for their continued support, as other companies might have decided, it's almost a three years old product, lets move on.
