Since firmware 1.0.5. for the M9 I cannot access my external SD card (Sandisk 400GB) using the file management app. It always crashes. Scanning and playing music from the external card works fine.

Sorry, I do not understand your answer. What does the Android version 1.1.3. have to do with the FiiO music app?

My question was:
Why the FiiO music app 1.1.2. was not included in the latest firmware update of the M9.
Obviously there is a version 1.1.2. of the FiiO music app version available (through a headfi user) which runs perfectly on the M9.
Instead after the last firmware update the FiiO music app is still on version 1.1.0.

Everyone visiting the FiiO M9 download page, note that many of these apps are older versions... PowerAmp is v828, for example, when the latest is v831 or higher... I'd still recommend using APKPure to get the latest version of the apps you need.

For poweramp it is probably right to use the newer version on apkpure, but for neutron I would not be so sure.
So I will try first the versions on apkpure and if they will not work I will use the FiiO versions as a fall back.
