It's not explicitly stated anywhere, but I think it's a standard feature for any DAP in 2023

A check of the link shows $129 after discount. Even better.

EDIT: I read the top of the sale page for the v3 too fast. The $70 discount is for an IEM they sell. Slightly deceptive nonetheless. The price for v3 is $199, and No discount that I could find. Maybe $139 on Aliexpress, which I choose not to shop on.

Looking forward to an actual review of the V3, I actually bought myself the V6 from Amazon for Christmas, a day or so before the V3 was released.

I ended up ordering a v3, I don’t really need it but if the power output on 4.4mm is genuine then it may open up more possibilities with headphone use over my Hiby r3 gen2, I’ll see what I prefer in use between the two players. Or I may keep both.

Although I won't do a full review I am very interested in using it with some of the gear I have here. I have been told by another member it does indeed have USB capability, so it will be a very cool pairing with Gryphon, Diablo, and so forth.

If it’s of any value; I have the Tempotec V6 (and an old V1A), Hiby R2-II, R3-II, M300 (and older’s R2 & R3): they all work perfectly as “Digital source” (USB), and have had zero compatibility issue with various dongles, Topping G5, etc.

I also have a V3 on order (and no, I absolutely don’t need it !!! ). One thing I’m not sure is whether it has DLNA support (they mention AirPlay, but not DLNA): on the R2-II and R3-II, MSEB & EQ are disabled with AirPlay, but remain active with DLNA. I suspect the V3 features are the same as Hiby’s R2/3.

Never used a HiBy OS DAP... Does it have PEQ built in? Thanks for answering my noob question.
