if the stage isnt bigger than the dt series, Im not interested although physical the beyer t5p seems to be almost everything i want in a set

the sound stage of the t5p may not be BIGBIG...
but it isnt small either. What i like about this t5p is that
i hear MORE into the music, like a laser...
it cuts thru the haze, the blur, and i hear crisp lively details
in songs that i tot i am familiar with.
When i put on the can, the background is so silent,
the isolation is really good.
So i am very satisfied with this closed can actually.
 
Comparatively, the dt880 became more ambient and passing,
and i dun look for details thru the dt880 anymore,
i just enjoy it as a comfortable smooth can for background music.
And of cos the dt880 is super comfy on the head.

Yeah swbf2, I was going to suggest the Ultrasones. I know that's what I would go for if I was in your position. If only I had the money D:
