Hard to find those Philips IEMs around here. Either there are only earbuds left, or just not available anymore.
If you're saying the PL30s are durable, then it's good.
It's my first time paying this much for a piece of audio equipment (it's much for my budget), so I expect them to last long.

I saw a lot of people saying they prefer PL21 over PL30, but similarly to the situation with HD681 and HD668b,
PL30's are supposed to be more analytical, clear and have bigger soundstage and that's why I wanna pick them over PL21.

Any opinion on PL21?

Sorry for sidetracking off the Superlux rails :d

I much prefer the Sennheiser HD-201 at ~$20 than the Superlux 681F. Of course it is my subjective opinion and the Superlux is still a good buy, I just cannot stand the sudden pike in the high.

I think many of us have problems with this. It's not really a spike, rather a very high treble. But if you put toilet paper behind the pads (I find 1 piece of double-ply folded in to quarter) then it is reduced to the same as etymotics and sounds very good. Also, unlike the standard HD681, the HD681F does not have the two narrow spikes at 8000Hz and 12000Hz.. These spikes need equalisation whereas the HD681F just needs toilet (or other tissue) paper.

See more here.

I am a Grado fan so I am use to forward sounding headphones but still cannot accept it. To me it's spike cos it happen suddenly, I give it away to a friend.

relaxing means for me a non agressive signature, specially in the highs. but i listen a lot to classical and soundtracks, what would make the hd660 bad for those genres?

The 660s are decent for classical music, it's just that I find the 668Bs to to a better job :). Personally I wouldn't say that the 660 is aggressive (the 668Bs without eq are) but someone more experienced might give you a more conclusive answer.
