I could not say exactly because I never used the remote in BT Receiver mode, but only with the files stored on the DAP. As I indicated, the reinstallation of the stock firmware did not bring any improvement for this problem of interference between the Remote and the BT reception in LDAC codec. So I reinstalled Dawn V2 because I am very satisfied with your latest version. And as I was writing to newword666, I also cannot rule out that my Sony XZ2 phone is causing this problem. No difficulty using the Remote with Dawn V2 while listening to music stored locally.

Yes, I too face a similar issue. When I stream LDAC from my wm1a to my Bluetooth receiver, it is very choppy and unplayable as well. With remote as well. Was ok with the previous firmwares. probably the same bug that is causing issues with Bluetooth receiver mode as well.

Dawn is brighter sounding overall with more treble presence. Midnight is slightly darker and warmer. Detail retrieval is still good with both.

Hi Mr. Walkman. I have an interesting question for you. I’m using Chameleon 3.02 and really like the ability to switch models on the fly.

After installing Chameleon on my 1A, I installed the extended tuning for Project Z. I then used the device to switch to a model 1Z and installed the extended tuning for Midnight. Will the switched model 1A and 1Z each retain their own extended tunings, or does the Walkman only retain a single (last installed) extended tuning?

When installing the tuning, you should see the update bar going to the end, which can't happen on the old Chameleon firmware.

This is my setting J region, Midnight, Project Z, Plus V2, Alternate DAC Initialization, High Gain.

So much depth, very very deep bass, wide soundstage, reality off chart; I maybe wrong but it seems even deeper than earlier Project Z2 Test phase. Using 1Z Romi Mod & PW 1960 cable. Ear tips make a really huge difference. I’m using Azla Sena tips,the different Sedna tips I think it’s just different comfort level but sound performance pretty close throughout the different Sedna tips, they are really good although expensive, seems to preserve if not enhance sound quality a bit. Used Spinfit Cp 145 etc it has great stage stability but sucks up too much bass. So yeah, Sedna tips are the one for me. Also I used UM 3DT, it’s really great iem, I think most underrated, best bargain iem of the year, definitely mismatch price vs quality, mad scales like I never seen before and put all my other much more expensive iems to shame. I was on Odin tour, and I like UM 3DT so much more. Definitely needs to check it out
