Finally i got my zx300 after 20hrs on stock tried Mrwalkman FE version, more details now and i love it Thanks to Mrwalkman!

Edit: ZX300 more holographic than my LG V50
Is it a new one? If so you will notice the difference as the capacitors burn in.

Just installed MrWalkman FEv2, sounds amazing using the plus setting (not sure how much of an impact it will have on the battery).

Has any ZX300 owner heard the Lotoo Paw 6000 ?
I'm able to get the LP6K for a deal and would like to know if it's a worthy upgrade.
The fact that the Mr.Walkman FW improves on the stock ZX300 just makes the decision more confusing.

Has anyone been able to use the zx-300 in DAC mide with an iPhone? If so, how are you connecting them? They don’t seem to work and I’m using the original Sony cable with the USB 3 camera connector from Apple.
You can connect to the iPhone via Bluetooth and use the zx-300 as a BT receiver.

Yes, that’s how I always use it and it works great. However, I wanted to try high res files from Apple Music and streaming via Bluetooth is not high res. That’s why I thought of connecting it with a cable and use it in dac mode. Is dac mode supposed to work with iPhone?

Hi
I have also found that often the connection can take a little bit to get up and running. Remember to uncheck in the ZX300 settings (USB DAC Settings) "Load this player from the connected device". And launch 2 or 3 titles on the iphone. I just tried. It worked on the 3rd track. I never understood why this connection was so temperamental at startup. Good luck (I hope someone can give you a less empirical answer here).

Hey, So I’ve had my ZX300 for about a year now and it seems like the 3.5 MM Jack began disconnecting itself when there’s movement and I noticed the hole itself wobbles a little. Any idea on how I can fix it or replace it?
Buy a 4.4mm balanced cable. That's probably not the answer you were looking for but apart from taking it somewhere for a (probably expensive) service, it's about your only option.

Already ahead of you :gs1000smile:, but I use 3.5 for car rides and it’s bugging me having to keep fidgeting it around (also it’s unsafe haha) also I like switching between balanced and unablanced for comforts sake (my ears are sensitive with in ear headphones) or I go walking. Another note is that i tend to yank the unablanced cable in exercise so it might have something to do with it.

With the latest firmware (Midnight v2) the ZX300 punches so far above its weight class its a bit ridiculous. I also own a 1A and a feel that the improvement on the ZX300 is even more striking. The ZX300 isn't the most resolving player, so it really seems to benefit from a firmware based on the sweeter, more analogue signature of the 1Z.
