Even a good memory card can fail, but personally I prefer the confidence of knowing I have a reputable brand to ensure the odds favour my music being there when I hit play.
I have always used Sandisk, from my 128gb to a 200gb to my current 256gb and have never had a problem.

Got a few David Gilmour albums in DSD128 and they just sound wonderful! balanced out with the IT01

Same here. I've always used Sandisks and have never had a problem or failure. I suppose a counterfeiter could fake a Sandisk as easy as any other so I always buy from a reputable dealer.

Indeed, I have used Amazon because it is the best for price and shipping to my country (I know Amazon is not immune to fakes)

i have a couple bad sandisk card, all of them are newly released top capacity at the time. maybe it's bad first batch or something. but they always replaced it no problem asked. now I always use Samsung just because it's usually cheaper.

Samsung would be the next brand I would choose.

I've always had problems with Samsung, Sandisk is ok with me.

For open headphones I have just got the Focal Clear and it sounds great on the ZX300 even on SE which really surprises me. Also I've tried the HD660S and is nice out of the ZX300 though similar to the older HD650 it's a warmish phone so I'm not sure they fit your quest for good female vocal. For closed cans the Z1R can be driven well from the ZX300 as well but it's not a female vocal focus phone out of the box, but if you dial in a bit of EQ to tone down the bass and boost the mids a little you can make it work well with vocals.
