Cables don't "improve resolution".
You want to change the frequency response, EQ is the most reliable way, and it's free.
Provided your source chain can eq, mine can’t

Technically no, but certain cables can reduce noise and shift the FR balance so that there's more perceived resolution/detail coming through. At the end of the day what you get is equivalent to hearing more resolution.

Can someone suggest me the best (subjective hopinion) cable for the ier z1r? I suffer the high notes after 5 kHz and I want the most politely SQ from this in ear, improving its resolution
Thanks a lot for who help me :)
If you suffer from the <10kHz area, insert deeper.
If you suffer from the >10kHz area, insert shallower.
If you suffer from both, use the Z1R with an impedance adapter, and consider foam tips.

Have any of you ever listened to the Z1R using a tube amp? I've been swapping between my A90D + E70, RS5Gen2 and an Ifi blu and while I liked the IEM, I wasn't that big of a fan. Yesterday I ended up using my Z1R with my Wa7 Fireflies and I cannot emphasize this enough, holy crap it's good. I really really suggest if you guys get a chance (whether CanJam or whereever) you try the Z1R with it.
+1. I often listen to the Z1R through my TT2>MHA200 chain and love it!

Btw, i have a bridge cable to sell to anyone in EU who believes this.
I'm sure it will bring you all kinds of improvements.

My traillii much benefit from the 1960 to the Orpheus, and it wasn’t a mirage IMHO
I don’t agree that you have to spend so much money for an improvement, but I’m strongly convinced that cable can make difference.
Traillii became much more denser and the jewel much more holographic

Which DAP does IER-Z1R sound best with? SP3000,RS8,DX320Max Ti or something else?
I have not tried it with all the DAPs you mentioned but I find it awesome with the Sony WM1A but it really made for the DMP-Z1, this combo is sublime.

I just got a RS5 Gen 2 in and tbh I'm not a huge fan of the sound with it.

Only daps I've heard it with is Sony WM1Z, ZX300 and A55. The ZX300 and A55 don't really have power enough but the 1Z is nice. However the best for me is with the TA amp/dac but that's AC powered

I am using it with Analog Squared Paper Tur-06 (hybrid tube) and it is the best pairing I heard over many other SS amps, for the z1r.

One thing that i have noticed with the Z1R is that at lower volumes they don't sound that great to me. But at higher volumes they really start to shine. On my Cayin N8 i listen to the U12t on mid gain at around 40/100. They sound great even at lower levels of volume. For the Z1R i have to go up to like 55-65/100. Booth on the 3.5mm Output.

And i am of course aware that the U12t and the Z1R have different efficiencies. But even volume matched, the Z1R only sounds better to my ears once it gets a tad louder.

I use mine with a Shanling M6 Ultra and the pairing very nearly brings me to tears every time I use it (I listen to dance music).

Tried Baroque luxury tip from Eletech cable on Z1R, not a good match, bass is surpressed while other FR seems to be a littlbe bit nicer.
