Any standard mmcx connector will plug into the Z1R but removing it again is hard but not impossible due to the recessed connector on the Z1R shells. The Dunu Blanche, Sony Kimber and a couple of other cables I have tried work fine

Thanks decided to give the original cable a try first.

So far, the IEM fits well. Even better than my old Z5

But the cable feels finky

Edit: The cable memory wire doesn’t retain shape. Hmm. Most likely have to replace with another brand

a bit of info about mmcx for z1r. It was a nightmare for me to know that I was using not correct one with Dunu Blanche that's why I’ve jumped to Bispa connectors, they are just amazing, and now the perfectionist inside me is calm.

There is nothing wrong with using the Blanche with the Z1R, it’s just a bit difficult to remove

Yea ofc it’s ok. But I knew the whole time that somewhere there are sockets for my favorite Z1r which are more appropriate, so I’ve solved this issue .Btw Blanche also was not so comfy for me because of the bulged wires around the ears. Lavri is much more comfortable to use.
