Tips are an individual thing. Nevertheless, I recommend trying these silicone tips from « Morepwr » on AE. They cost almost nothing (USD 5.-), high quality and very soft inside your ears. Isolation is excellent.

No other tips in my large collection can compete so far. Matter of taste and ear anatomy/canal though.

Ha ha, I was too slow to copy in the link, as I was buying a 3pack myself
Just bought another 2 sets (3xM, 3xL) myself too. They are too good at this price.

I ordered yesterday evening and they have already been shipped. Very nice seller.

Ordered some too, I can never resist trying out new tips! Grabbed the Symbio W style one too, interested to see how it compares as much cheaper.

The Symbio W generics are good too, but quite stiff. Worth the try, though.

Keen to hear your thoughts on the xe6. I’m pretty intrigued by the frontier series, but I guess there would have to be something different enough vs what I already have to get serious about them.
hey! YEah what I am hoping is they will keep moreorless the same sound as Z1Rs but provide more headphone like experience due to the various tech in them esp open drivers and kinetic bass. lets see , as if that were the case Id like to keep my flexible hugo2 setup going vs investing is stationary desktop + 5000 dollar headphone setup. I just loving listening in bed ha

You can refer to the CanJam 2022 Singapore thread for the upcoming deals available. I last went a few years ago (as you can see on my profile badge) but I remember people offering half off on stuff in the last hour.

As for whether or not it will occur again this year, I would say there are going to be discounts but sentiment on the ground is starting prices are going to be higher as many companies are dealing with severe supply issues.

If you dont attend its fine but think of it as a good way to connect with likeminded individuals. I think this is especially important since we have spent the last 2 years looking at webcams while in underwear with suits.
No sure if I can make it to the show.
Can we buy the tickets at the show?

I would like to post this question to all owners of the IER-Z1R: What is the nozzle diameter of the IER-Z1R?

Thanks!

4mm. This is relatively smaller than many other IEMs, which is why I use narrow-bore tips like the Final E. I insert this IEM pretty deep, and larger-bore tips get stuck in my ears, eg Azlas, so I don't use those.

Thank you for your prompt reply. Can other users confirm this measurement?

I was thinking of using the Moondrop Spring Tips but then I realised that its supported diameters are only 4.8-6.4mm and I was wondering whether or not its suitable.

These are the measurements @gerelmx1986 made at one point. On the left are distances from the tip and on the right are diameters

when I was auditioning this at the shop, I used Moondrop Spring Tips that I pulled from my M9 because I did not want to use the shop's tips. made the Z1R sitting closer in. they stayed fixed to the IEM when I pulled it out of my ears.

hope this helps.

Thank you sir and @gerelmx1986 for the information. I greatly appreciate the detail. I will be saving this image to my PC.

Thank you for the feedback. Seeing as you have tried the Z1R with Spring Tips, may I ask for your opinion with regards to how it sounded to you? There is little information online about this pairing.
