Pretty, pretty good. To me at least. Very clean, very clear, spacious with great separation and soundstage, crisp highs without being fatiguing, just the right amount of bass. All in all, very fun. Great for well-produced electronic music IMO.

Thanks. I found a deal to sell my useless stuff and buy used WM1A + IER-Z1R. It may be my complete endgame
But I'm hesitant to go with a new purchase like this because I had stuck with quite a bit disappointing high-end products.

For anyone who think, skeptical or trolling about Acoustic foam filter mods for IER Z1R and don’t take FR graph for proof

Here is from Sony EX1000 statement

I don't think anybody doubts that you can tune the sound of the Z1R by using different foam filters. What people doubt is that you can do a better job at it than Sony. But the important thing is that you're happy with your change.

Couldn’t have said it better.

Filters can make a big difference as I know from playing with filters on the ER4 years ago but they were designed to use replaceable filters. I like the stock sound and don’t feel comfortable mucking about with such an expensive piece of kit that was not designed with replaceable filters
