Wow. You still have the Solaris to compare?

Yeah the soonest I'll be able to sell Solaris is two weeks. Lots of time to a/b...though I think I've got a pretty good idea of where things stand at this point.

Man, I have to rant. Crinacle's iem ranking list..... Only 6 are in S tier. I've tried 4 of them. Lcdi4 belongs. But man, the z1r belongs so strongly. There just is no shred of uncertainty of it being any lower. None. Idk about the kse1200 or u12t, which I tried extensively. But man the z1r can only belong in s tier. Man man man I am in love here.

If I had were forced to pick either i4 or z1r based solely on sound quality..... With a gun pointed to my head... I'd still pick the i4. But man... Man man man the z1r......

Most of us here are enjoying the Z1r. Some did not (but still visit the thread). However, there are some people who are louder than the rest and seem to be on a perpetual emotional rollercoaster.

Of the many so called TOTL IEM threads on head-fi this one probably has the least amount of shilling (probably due to the lack of demo tours and such).

actually at first, the very first time i heard the z1r, i thought it was kind of disjointed with too much bass. nonetheless, still objectively amazing. amazing. then after a while, i thought it was not that great, too clean, too hi-res, unnatural. now finally, my ears have adjusted and i've come to appreciate it. if i had never heard the lcdi4, i would think that the z1r is the best iem on earth and it'd be near impossible to beat them.
