Thanks to the recent Watercooler survey, which showed tremendous ongoing love for the Z1R amid a forest of newer far more expensive TOTLs, I acquired it a second time. So glad to have it in tow and hearing it with new ears, especially thanks to RS8>Tsuranagi. Really opens up the depth, warmth, detail, and staging, brings mids a bit more forward, all while keeping the unctuous low end and sweet treble at the forefront.

Yeah I told them the issue I was having, I explained that the left side earpiece cable connection was looser than the right and that it was also more difficult to remove than the right side, the issue continued to happen with both cables so the service rep agreed that I qualified for a warranty exchange.did they confirm that the issue is covered by the warranty?

New to the ier z1r family and man these are chonky. I've tried every tips I've had and most of my go to made them sound thin and metallic... I was ready to give up until I had some tips from my ex800.. tried the small tips and wow. Fits well and the sound is as most described. I hear the hype now. I find narrow bores are best. Let me know if there's any other tips that can bring out the mids more?

I have tried every tip in my collection and fully agree with you. The shorter the tip, and narrower the nozzle the better sound.New to the ier z1r family and man these are chonky. On most other earphones I prefer either foams or wide bore, but not here.
A few people like the Softears Liquid Silicone tips and others like the Spinfit CP100 tips. My go-to currently is the Divinus Velvet tips. Tips do make a difference in terms of fit and sound profile! Aber big success with the COMPLY T-200 on my IER-M9 I bought the Ts-200 for the IER-Z1R and 100% satisfied.
Best comfort plus sound so far. I can wear them significantly longer and more enjoyable than with any other tips I've tested so far

if i sort by brand / model (ier m7, since ier z1r its not listed), it needs to be the 400 version.

I tried the regular T200 on Z1R and they were too long for the Z1R, but the TS probably fix this issue.
