I'm in Australia and the box says the same thing, but i'm looking at a few units from Japan on a website and the backside of the box looks very different. Guess we can't really know.

Final update on my aftermarket L eartip test and after using velvets for 72 hours I went back to Coreir Brass. Velvets are really strong in Bass and Sub-bass department but they also cut the sparkling Highs by a fraction which in my case and music preferences is not acceptable.

That weird. Mine doesn't display any date whatsoever.

Same for the pachaginf of my XBA-Z5 abd DMP-Z1 , they dont have a visible date

country may not be specified in new productions. mine is 2020 production 9k serial number.

Mine was bought april 2019 from accessory jack. With a serial of 41XX

My XBA-Z5 was bought from amazon usa ib bovwember 2022 box has no date.

DMP was bought in amazon europe (germany) in november 2021 also the box has no date.

Serial of XBA-Z5 lies in the 377XX abd that of DMP arround the 2xx
