Yep, I’m hoping my local price reflects that. It was supposedly 2,499,000KRW when the price was $2200, so hopefully they drop it here too.

Wow I havnt had a raise since 2010. Z5 was like 500 usd but atleast this went down in price to $1,999.99.

For me, I think z1r was always going to be priced similarly to Solaris (if it ever makes its way here to Korea). Maybe it was just a bad distributor markup situation, but Andromeda was over $1500, whereas Japanese products tend to be priced more normally? If the z1r does get a price drop everywhere to that $2000 (2,200,000KRW) point, I don’t see Solaris being sold for cheaper than that here.
Took it from the Sony Korea page, so not sure about the z1r situation elsewhere.

Apparently the Chinese release date is Feb. 19th, I think the official release date might be different depending on region.

I can actually demo both on the 11th, I am deciding between upgrading my Gemini to VX or getting z1r myself.
