Not just "too much fun" ... "too damn good". With the G-73R in the "driver's seat", the amp should go by "Crackefunken" 😜.
Ha! Crackefunken is perfect. Now to upgrade the power tube...

2024 Q1 Study Room System Update
Over the Chinese New Year holiday, I took the opportunity to order a set of IKEA glass bookshelves, giving my study room a much-needed reorganization. It now looks much more inviting and also provides a neat display space for my headphones, keeping them dust-free.

It's an astounding collection of gear. In particular, I've never seen that many headphone/IEM cables in one place before.

(quite amazing)

What video monitor is that?

I gotta say, Elekit 8900 is one fine headphone amplifier. Impressed me quite a bit!

Thanks. That is LG G3 43 OLED TV monitor.

I do have around 70pcs IEMs not showing in those photos, keep them in a dry cabinet.

OLED works for a computer monitor? I would have thought burn-in would happen pretty quickly.

FWIW, I'm an OLED lover for real. My 77" C3 from 2018 still lights up everything I watch on it. It just wouldn't occur to me to use an OLED with the computer...

(before OLED it was plasma...still have 2 beautiful plasmas in other places)

How do you like your TEAC? I have a 6000cdt as well and the sound is really great. Have you compared the two?
TEAC VRDS-701T trounces Audiolab 6000CDT for sonic image solidity, soundfield layering in both placement and in volume, clarity / extension at frequency extremes. [It should: $2600 USD v $600 USD]
