Actually I almost gave up on speakers (I had before Avantgarde, Wolf von Langa...) because I won't have a proper place for set-up for a couple of years. Never thought that I can achieve a good sound from this situation.

These small speakers (albeit definitely not bass monsters) are doing wonders. Human voice, acoustic music is absolute first class. Ghaza is simpy magic with them. They also have the speed for electronic music, so they are not completly dead there. Really refined, open and lively sound. Electronic plays the part too of course. Expensive, but very-very good.
Nice speakers you had. 👌

The DeVore’s are really special. I only listened to the O/Baby at High–End in Munich with an Audiomat Solfège Reference 20 amp and a nice turntable. John DeVore DJed. The experience was engaging and the system painted the colours of the music faithfully. Not many systems can do colour. Those moments were my favourite ones at the show.

I've finalized my set up - now maybe just will fuss with cables for EQ or get a dedicated streamer like Lumin U2 mini (too lazy to set up Holo Audio Red or other raspberry pi) but will probably just focus on CDs.
The fine art of using Holy Works as headphone rests to maintain tonal purity.

Stand upgrade: Grumpy Goose obtained!

Other than cleaning and testing a pair of backup power tubes, I’m set.
Sonic/musical pleasure galore.
Comfortable as all get-out, too.
👍❤️😊

I thought of you when I happened on this Black Walnut/Olivewood unit in the classifieds… it probably lasted five minutes, tops. I must have spotted it right after the former owner posted it, as three other interested parties PMed right after me.

But now it’s all MINE! Muuhaahaaahaaa! 😈

It’s in good hands, though. I thoroughly researched how to maintain it and lovingly applied orange oil to it earlier today. 😇 Plus, the Olivewood “beak” matches my Olivewood ACs perfectly!

You must leave it to me in your will.

[Note to self: Kill AudioDuck and make it look like an accident.]
