That's a damn nice looking chair - comfy?
I always wondered if the site should have a chair thread (Ass-Fi)?
Thanks 👍
Yes, it's quite comfy, it has been my "HiFi chair" for a long time now.
Worst thing about it, is that the seating area is suspended on the frame by leather straps. So when I move around, the straps squeak pretty loud. So I need to sit still in it to not break the immersion when listening 🤣

I spend an unhealthy amount of time thinking about a listening chair (lounge/recliner)

I’ve never settled on anything due to space/size constraints in the bedroom, not ideal form/function for headphone listening and the biggest deal breaker…wife hates it when it ticks the boxes on the first two.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Unless you have a butler who turns on your gear while your chauffer takes you home from the Stock Exchange in whichever Rolls Royce or Bentley is appropriate for that day of the week, just turn on the gear and start listening

I turn my gear on when I want to listen and I turn it off when I'm sure I'm done. Sometimes it stays on all day late into the night, sometimes it's on for a few hours. I have no butler, and I'm hoofing it most of the time :D
Well, my chauffer (I spell it differently, fluffer), is normally on her knees in the back seat on my ride home.

I'd need a worthy chair first - I do like 90% of my listening flaked out on my bed
A wise man once said, why run when you can walk, why stand when you can sit, and why sit when you can lay down. I might have added that last part, but I'm sure someone wise has said that before.

Final amp acquired: Soncoz SGA1. Warm, friendly, engaging, refined. I can go hard and loud, and it'll never be fatiguing. Turns the HarmonicDyne Zeus Elite into 100% of the headphone I wanted it to be. Need the balanced DAC now, to really open 'er up. Oh, and the last headphone.

Good idea.

My best listening time is at night when the wife is asleep and I just turn off the pc and the lights and get lost for a couple of hours.

A nice comfy chair just makes the experience much better, and even more when you are an old fart
