And the sequence is ordered by price? Or sound quality? Or…?

It could be a trail so that he remembers his way back to his listening room.

It’s an audiophile red carpet (and a wife trip wire system)

🫵 You got me 👏🏻

And so I could find my house again, I put a few more in the window.

But seriously, after my tests, I sold about 80% of the stuff lying on the floor and kept only the good stuff.

I'd certainly want to find my way back to that listening room as well. Amazing collection.

What is the last one on the right? How does it compare with the HD600 which we both have?

My happy corner...

Just got the NAD. Holy crap, that thing has a good headphone amp.

I've got an iCAN and a Project Ember inside the red cabinet.

You mean this one?

It's the Peacock, which sounds completely relaxed and rather warm when used with a neutral amplifier.

It's not really comparable to the HD600, as the latter's strengths lie primarily in the mids, whereas the Peacock, being a planar headphone, has a very round, more precise, and more dynamic sound with a pronounced stage.

The Peacock is very amplifier-dependent, as it sounds rather dull and sluggish when used with warmer DAC/amp configurations, which is why it has often received rather negative reviews.

I personally like these headphone a lot, as they relax me a lot during listening sessions.

Peacock's definitely an underrated gem when paired right. That laid-back, spacious presentation can be addictive.
What amp or DAC combos have you found bring out the best in it?

Is that a C 328 Hybrid?

Cheers!

Yes.

I will seldom use the headphone amp...but I was really impressed with what it can do.

Bought it on sale for $530 last week (normal price was $699). I just noticed that the price went up this week to $799.00 -- love them tariffs.
