As far as I know there is no "exact" equivalent of IER Z1R. However, if you like the sound of Sony, I think Symphonium Meteor could be your answer (not chi-fi though)
Never heard the Meteor, but it's been described as similar to the Xenns Up - which I have & is excellent for bass lovers who don't want something especially fatiguing.
Maestro Mini is a bit of a novelty. Fun for 30 mins & the bass is impressive... but it's a very incomplete listening experience & the bass can sound daft/out of place at times. I sold mine & got the Scarlett also... a good step better, but still not a complete experience. Sold that and got the Maestro SE; now that is a complete listening experience.

Haha, from all of their line up, actually I can only enjoy Grand Maestro with Vocal Boost switch. I think I'm just more to midrange head rather than bass head.
Man of Culture; the Nixie Clock and Vini Vici as well.
I bet that thing is a solid heft for those transformers to handle those power requirements on tube drivers!
A warm welcome to the latest addition... SACThailand Silk Classic TVA Passive Preamp... not Time Variance Authority but rather Transformer Volume Attenuator.
