I should add that someone from Fischer Audio posted in the DBA-04 thread a few days ago, and I immediately sent him a PM asking about DBA-02 availability. The PM has not been answered.

At least you've gotten a reply :/ Have you checked gd-audiobase? http://www.gd-audiobase.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&category_id=3&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=8&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=2&vmcchk=1&Itemid=2
Says they're in stock.

Treoo also has them. I think GD is in Russia, and Treoo is Singapore. Chances are you'll get them much faster than ordering with Bugden, since it seems they're having some issues.

Starting to regret not ordering those brainwaves B2s when they were on sale, since it doesn't look like I'm ever going to get a reply from Bugden now. Incredibly frustrating. I mean, if there's no DBA-02s left even for warranty, I'd really appreciate a simple e-mail saying that.

From what I've seen elsewhere, gd-audiobase doesn't seem to be in any better shape, either in having any stock or forthright communication with annoyed customers. Perhaps Treoo is the way to go...

Yeah I haven't heard anything bad about Treoo, I talked to one of their representatives about DBA-02s availability last September actually. Choose to order from Bugden in hopes they would arrive faster, which was unfortunately not the case.

I think I'll wait another week or two before making some phone calls, or maybe I'll send in a letter since e-mail isn't working.

Today I sent a "cancel my order please" email to Budgen Audio. I'm not just getting a bad feeling about the distributor, but also (and more so) about Fischer Audio. Combine that with the troubles some people have had with reliability and warranty exchange, and I've decided to pass. A shame really, as these are lauded as technically excellent 'phones. But I'm not going to reward poor customer service (again, in my case, more an impression of Fischer Audio).

Anyway, I'll let you know if/when the email is acknowledged.

Just wanted to let everyone know Ethan replied to me the other day with this:
"My sincere apologies, I have indeed been very busy with numerous things and events. I won’t go into detail, but there has been a lot.

I sent them a while ago but if they have not yet arrived, they are likely lost in the post (since shipping to NZ is faster than to say, Italy or China etc, it’s safe to say they are lost). I will send out another pair for you, hopefully those do indeed arrive soon. If the original shipment does turn up, it would be appreciated if you could refuse delivery of the package (whichever package arrives last).

If there’s anything else I can do, please feel free to let me know.

Best regards,

Ethan"

Heres hoping that some are finally on there way to me....

Yes they do sound very good, I would've just given up months ago if I didn't like the dba02s so much.

@Jandles

Nice to hear you've gotten a reply. Hopefully the rest of us will get one soon too now.

To follow up on my own post, I have received a response to my PM from Fischer Audio.

The gist of the response is that Bugden Audio has not ordered DBA-02's from Fischer Audio, "for a long time." He suggested I buy from GD Audio Base.

This is despite Ethan telling me in email on April 17'th that he has an order in.

Either the Fischer Audio rep is wrong or Ethan is giving me the run-around. Either way...

Caveat emptor.

Is there anything more damning than a supplier not backing a dealer and sending folks elsewhere? They wouldn't have discredited him and hung him out to dry if this situation was unique. If there's a good working relationship, what usually gets done, is they tell you that they'll check and get back, then call the distributor about his laps to get it corrected to everyones satisfaction without having egg on his face. I suspect they've heard 'the dog ate my homework' stuff once too often themselves.

Hello everyone !

I have some concerns like some of you do... I ordered and received rather quickly a pair of Sunrise SW-Xcape (V.2) and they broke within a month, so I emailed Bugden Audio about that, and I was told to send them back, which I did. It was around 04/04, so more or less a month ago. The problem is, this model seems to be out of stock by now, so I wrote to Ethan one more time, and this time I do not have any answer.

So I'm a little worried that the situation is blocked, since I learned today that Sunrise Audio is replacing it's V.2 Xcape model with an "Impressive Edition". What bothers me is that I spent a lot for those earphones and the shipping back was quite expensive too, so...

That's it guys, I don't really have anything to ask you but it sure feels good to share my issue with someone ! I feel a little bit lonely here in France with my not-at-all-audiophile friends... ;)

Sorry if my English is not perfect, by the way.

Cheers !

Still nothing, does anyone know what could be done about this issue ? Please anyone help.

I feel like I've been scammed and I think I've lost 3 or 4 months and over 100 USD...
