With all that serious hardware I would hope you could find a way to include some serious memory. like 2tb.
The specs state there is an SD card slot for cards up to 1TB. It might still work with bigger cards though and you can always use multiple cards if the need arises.

You're missing the point. I don't want to use multiple cards. And with memory as cheap as it is and needing less and less space there is no good reason for not putting a lot more into a chassis like this one.

Would 1TB not be sufficient for you? If 1TB is not going to be sufficient, then I think you might be hard pressed to find a portable/transportable solution that will offer you what you need. At least, I have so far not seen anything transportable that had so much internal memory and the biggest cards are (I believe) currently 1TB. Just thinking laterally here, but if you want a music library that massive all in one place, would it not be more interesting to get yourself setup for streaming? That might provide you with the library you want, without the storage issues. If you like the M30, then the open-Android module will give you direct access to most (if not all) streaming services. Unless of course your whole library is DSD512, which I would find impressive.

The case for more storage isn't that hard to accept is it? The size or configuration of my library isn't the real point. But, if you must know, it will soon top 1tb of mostly 44.1k wave files. There is some dsd512 and the ability to convert more but...
And the streaming thing is my choice, to not participate. I purchase music on discs because that is my choice. My library is considerably smaller than many on head-fi so I'm not the only person who would like to see more memory so we CAN take the whole library on the go in ONE single device. I also own three devices that have two card slots so I know it can be done, and better implemented too. DX120, DX80, AK Kann. I have not tried dual 1tb cards in the iBasso devices yet but the Kann just doesn't play nice with 1tb cards. There were others like Pioneer/Onkyo dap had two card slots, a Fiio had two but didn't work all that well. So again it's not a big ask and a good case for some company to DO IT!

P.S. The best quality device I have with the best memory is the SP2k, 1tb card with 512G internal

Why wav files though?

I can fully understand not wanting to stream, but then it might take a while before you can find a solution because it seems there is something of a challenge to implementing the high capacity memory cards on portables/transportables. FiiO indeed had issues with their dual card slots on the M11 and that was already with 512GB cards, let alone 1TB. I honestly don't know, but perhaps it has to do with a specific issue concerning the number of files in such large libraries. Maybe at some point a company will be able to implement cloud storage as a solution?
