Well so far, I CANNOT make it work with the Mojo. It identifies the Mojo as otg, so input, and not setting to set it as USB output...Shanling if you have a solution give it quickly or I just lost 100&.

You're going to disappoint a lot of people if it won't work with the mojo! Pocket-sized combo like that would be ideal! Let's hope that they will work together. :thinking:

Does anyone know if Shanling will be at The Headroom show in London next weekend? I'm planning to go and would like to have a play with the M1 if possible. They were at CanJam London but I didn't get a chance to stop at their stand (too many options, and not enough time!)

I doubt the current firmware supports usb out even.
I tried the player today at Jaben but did not have the Mojo with me.

Actually even the USB DAC doesn't work. Shanling, you are reading this, it is completely RIDICULOUS to sell something when the firmware doesn't support half the functions you are marketing. Do you think we are just paying Guinea Pigs?

@Mimouille

I think the issue is that the Mojo doesn't draw any current when it is connected as a DAC because its USB DAC input doesn't have the pins for the 5 V USB power supply.

As it seems the M1 won't recognise it as a DAC therefore.

Thanks for the tip but actually that is Shanling's problem. Since 50% of their clients on this product want it for the Mojo, they should have thought about it. You don't see this happening with the AK70 (even though AK usually have crappy firmware on the first versions).

My M1 does work as a DAC with my Macbook.

Tried it with an iPhone and got "This device draws too much power.."

I would wait until we can confirm with another OTG cable or two. Sometimes it can be a little finicky.
