I recently purchased ie900s but like many I cannot get a good fit with the stock tips. Comply foam tips arrived in the mail today. Hoping for better results

If I was in Germany, I would try this immediately! It's interesting that the price of the custom tips are included in the price of the IE900 -- I wonder if those of us who purchased the IE900 before April 17 are eligible for any special consideration. If the results are good and the sound is reliably consistent in all situations (moving, turning your head, laying down, etc) then the price of €169.90 is not unreasonable.I am happy with my Azla SednaEarfit Max on my IE900.
Thank you for the info!

I wonder how long they take to deliver after the measurements are taken. I am also curious how you would transport your IEMs when these have been attached. The standard Sennheiser carry case is already tight when the foam tips are attached and I don't know if squaring the custom tips into the same case would cause them to deform.
I look forward to hearing reviews!
Edit: You can get them at the Munich High End show starting May 18 -- they will scan your ears at the show if you have registered in advance.

Custom tips will change the sound too in almost the same way as foam tips because of the better seal.
People considering custom tips should try foam tips for a while to make sure they like the increased bass response.

I love the sound of my IE900, its ultra-portable take, but fit isn't the best. Learning about custom tips is great. I bought IE900 a while back, I doubt Sennnheiser will extend the free custom tip to the older customers, however, I hope they at least give us a discount.

Get final audio f tip those work good and I would recommend pairing it with ifi blueI recently purchased ie900s but like many I cannot get a good fit with the stock tips. Comply foam tips arrived in the mail today. Hoping for better results
Yeah, I'm hoping I can get a good deal too. I'm contemplating comply too. I've never liked silicon tips personally.
I find the ie900 a very comfortable fit as I do not need to place them very deep into the ear canal, but the seal is very important. Currently enjoying them with the JVC Spiral Dot++ ML size. The almost gel-like silicon seals up the ear canal very nicely.

One more question for you on these if you don’t mind.
What spiral dots did you get where you did this mod? Mine seem almost too small for this to work.

Hey there. I don’t know what it’s like in the UK but in the US I’ve never bought any Sennheiser’s that had shrink wrap on them. Otherwise the box looks legit. Same symbols and all that stuff as what I have on mine.Hi guys!
