I've just pulled the trigger and pre-ordered the IE900 having enjoyed many thousands of hours with my IE800 and HD800 collection. I've pre-ordered using the Sennheiser UK website which I believe is hosted by Digital River. I have every trust and faith in Sennheiser as a company and in their equipment but after placing my order the recent online reviews regarding Digital River's management of the ordering and customer support process leaves a lot to be desired. I'm hoping my own experience runs smoothly....

Digital River is terrible. There's such a huge disconnect between their call center and the warehouse operations.

I wish these were available on Amazon.

Well, knowing well their return/replacement process is atrocious, my dumbass clicked on the pre-order anyways. I hope to god I get a fully functioning unit to avoid any return/replacement process thru digital river.

Urgh I already have a 64Audio U12T for referential listening and the IE 900 looks tempting. Iam a sucker for minimalist yet elegant looking design like this one. Read through reviews, but can somebody help comment on the "fun" factor of this IEM? I know it's bassy, but will it throw off somebody who's familiar with the resolving capability of the U12T?

oh I am after LOOKS and sound. The design looks pretty for my preference and also egornomical. That's why I am asking for feedback here. Of course, I will always audition if I have the chance. Why do you sound like I am buying it tomorrow lol.

I am also glad it worked for you, noone saying they steal people's money, i am still waiting to hear back from them

Also, maybe Senns should stop wasting money on vids like above, i am not gonna buy it "more" because of some guy telling me about plucking string instruments

I have seen much worse vids from Sennheiser, I find this one quite informative. The listening test, we all still have to do ourselves.
