Did sennheiser stop selling replacement parts? I don't see a buy or add to cart button anywhere on https://en-us.sennheiser.com/050635-earpads-pair.

You can buy them on Amazon. They carry the Sennheiser “authentic” HD600 ear pads. I bought two pairs this past December on Amazon.ca since I live in Canada. One pair each for my HD600 & HD650. I buy new ear pads every year and a half since I use both headphones frequently and I’ve stopped buying anything else in audio a couple of years ago or so. So, I spend some money of new ear pads & music. I’m always surprised when I install the new ear pads on because I aways seem to question wether I really need new ones or not. Once they’re installed and I wear the headphone I can tell right away just based on the slight firmness of the new pads that yeah, it’s worth it. Have never been without an HD600 since 2003 or an HD650 since 2005. Their sound signature is outstanding.

@BobG55 have you tried any of the leather Dekonis? I like their appearance but I have never tried them.

With Dekoni fenestrated pads, which are laterally wider and a bit firmer than the stock pads, I get an airier & wider soundstage. The overall tonal balance to my ears stays the same.

Those are Chix perforated reusable towels. I took out the Sennheiser stock foam. Much clearer & more impact.

It is Chicopee Chix #8311. Picture 1 is of the box. Picture 2 is of a sheet. Picture 3 is through a sheet towards the front door. Very transparent. [The sheets are dry. I use these all around the house, wring out and let dry in the garage. One day, in typical headphoniac fashion, I wondered: “What if…?” ]

So... no protection for the inside components? Do you not worry about dust/dirt etc... I assume thats why the foam is there...?

I agree. Ideally, there would be no screen. Hair, perspiration, etc dictate otherwise.
