Yea i'm not to sure of that. I sent these things through hell. In my backpack with a FAT ps3. they did just fine. the feel like they are going to break but never did. My grandmother now has them and shes VERY clumsy and drops them all the time, they ahve yet to even crack.

Heya,

(Referring to HD448's...)

I had them too.
Used them as portables.
Sounded pretty good (again to anyone following, they sound great)
Flimsy and cheap feeling. Major con.
Dinky little cord that is way too long and easy to pinch. Huge con.
They're junk for their cost. The final word.
I can't recommend them to anyone for their price tag.

They're so great you gave them to your grandmother.

Very best,

Very best,

because I got the RS2's......I filter in and out headphones A LOT, HTe longest I have owned one was 7 months *hfi-580* which I just traded for the MDR-v6 and XB700 again. I gave them ot her as a gift after trying to sell them ot get the RS2's but they didnt sell after...what 6 months. but I do believe that was when the m50's were selling out like hot cakes and no one batted an eye at anything else entry level for a few months. but what ever draw your own conclusions from my posts.

I love my hd438s.

probably not as fancy looking as 300 dollar headphones, but still very good sound for it's asking price.

build quality is good enough for me to use it as a portable, they're really not that flimsy.
