Why is the im03 rated so low even lower then the im70
Maybe its not what the reviewer likes?

Out of the 3, the savant is probably the one with the least bass. The asg 1plus has a good balance and sounds the most natural amongst the given choice
I guess my im50 can't be saved. I found my shure medium size olive tips that give perfect fit on my um3x and despite the fact it goes on the im50 nozzle, they still don't stay in my ear with confirms either the housing is not shaped correctly to fit the human ear or the nozzle is just to big for human ears.
That could well be true, I have larger than average ears and i find the im70 to be one of the best fitting iems i've ever tried.
Actually I can get it to stay deep enough for adequate seal but the housing just don't stay flush in my ears. When I push the housing with my fingers, I can easily feel at least 3mm of play. They just don't look professional in public.
Does the im04 sound small? Like is the soundstage wide? Does it have thin note characteristics or is it more of a full-bodied weight to the notes? Agile or smooth?
It depends on the source. With the X3ii the IM04 was very warm, but not really dark. On the X5 Classic it sounded dark, especially on albums with a natural darkness to them.
Because of this I prefer the IM03, which has nearly as much bass and warmth, but never gets truly dark.
