Wil a 2 pin cable that is being used on Westone 4R work with my ASG 2.5?

Both share same pin dimensions (0.78mm), so it should work just fine.

used 400 to 500.the 2.5 way better than the 2.0.

If you are going to answer, this won't do.
At least state what you prefer in the 2.5 if you're going to give some advice.

I happen to prefer the 2.0 because they felt punchier with very forward mids and VERY strong bass. Very unique tuning, the more engaging IEMS I've ever had with the HA-FX850.

The 2.5 sound much more tame, the mids are good but less forwards. The bass with ports closed is good, with ports open, it's overbearing. Overall they feel more natural, leaning towards neutral, and non fatiguing. I guess they would appeal to most people, but I find them much more ordinary than the 2.0.

Glad you are enjoying the 2.0. Guess I have better ears and you can write much better.

I WAS enjoying the 2.0 until they got robbed by a postman on their way back from socket repair (it's always nice to receive an empty envelop!).
I'm stuck with the 2.5. Life is unfair sometimes.

If I had one of my 2.0 I would trade with you. I had a custom 2.0 and a universal. Guess I settled with the 2.5.

This is unnecessary.

For what it's worth, I completely agree with tienbasse. The 2.5 is my personal preference, but the 2.0 is a beast in terms of what it manages to pull off with its tuning while maintaining technical prowess. When comparing both side by side, the 2.5 has the subdued tone of a child who has been placed on a high dose of ADHD medication. The 2.0 is the slightly autistic, more charismatic twin...who can possibly get to be a bit much if you're around it for a long time. The 2.5 retains 90% of the magic, but with more restraint.

Personal preference I preferred the ASG2 too. ASG2.5 sounded much more restrain with a tamed high. Bass ports doesn't do much good too. Even coupled with silver cables such as silver dragon, the sound doesn't strike an energetic balance. Bass ports closed, it does punch with more authority and deeper rumble. But that's about it. Mids and highs are subdued. Purely speaking on bass, I do find IE800 has better quality bass. Surprisingly I found ASG2 to have better details retrieval and addictive mid range. It's one of the rare and unique signature you can find with the mids so forward, lush and simply enticing.

I preferred 2.0, it was less dark and threw out more emotion in the mids, confirmed by myself over several days of testing. For the record I got to choose from either with no outlay required or funds involved and kept 2.0.

I like jmills8, but this talk is uncalled for, just let it be known the above poster is not alone.

Not by a long shot.

I've been rotating the ASG2, ASG2.5 and Ref1.

I have to agree with the above and do like the ASG2 over the ASG2.5 at this point. There's something above the sound signature I just like more.

However, you can't really go wrong with either.

The 2.0 has a much muddier overall signature. Not much different from the ASG 1.5 or the ASG-B.

The 2.5 cleans up the loose ends of the 2.0 and presents a much more cohesive sound. Amping them properly is pretty essential for a good sound as they can sip power like a full size headphone. .
