Having heard Dunu DK-3001 and HiFiMAN RE-800, there are many good alternatives at this date with really great soundstage and instrument separation!
Completely different purpose.

After experiencing different things other than iems and revisit previous things for the entire month , I now got a clearer view about other alternatives ..
Still , the ASG 2.5 still hold the number 1 in my collection .

how does it compare with other heavy hitters like the vegas or the isine 20s
I demoed voth of those various times. Bass? 2.5 , mids 20s and 2.5 , treble vegas. Put a great cable on the 2.5 with a good amp/dac and over all the 2.5 beats them.

Hey guys, what size Comply tips do the ASG 2.0 use? Can't find the particular model in the options.

If there are better recommendations for tips, I'm all ears. Thanks :)

Try these Tips in L size . The most solid tips I had try on the 3 pairs of Asg2.5 I owned . The L size are the ones seals best and most comfy than the S ,,M .
I never use the others after using these red tips

Labkable Pandora is one of the most matched cable for the asg 2.5.
The cable doesnt sound smooth with some treble peak here and there. The bass is not the tightest, but still ok.
But the soundstage, separation and the Mid are to die for.
These asg 2.5 (2nd hand)are the best bang for the bug ever in my 10 head-fi years (180$). With this set up (DX200+pandora) asg2.5.jpg , I've found I like the asg 2.5 more than U12 and Shure846 (use 2 pin to mmcx adapter)

2.5 with a stronger amp and better dac will make the 2.5 shine. Ifi Black, Hugo or Arrow amp are the way to go.

I lately rediscovered my love for the 2.5 - feeling like a teen again who fells in love for the very first time ;) Needed to do some small tweeking to the high end (lowering peak at 9.3k) and this IEM shines so much. Thunderous subbass, beautiful full mids and now quite nice smooth highs. Well, I stopped looking for an other universal IEM (for now ;)).
