[REVIEW] Aurisonics ASG-2 & 2.5 (with many comparisons)
Aug 18, 2016 at 8:54 AM Post #6,601 of 7,021
Compared to the Storm MKI? Both quality and sound wise?
Inter connect cable? If you mean storm iem cable then the storm will be slightly thicker bass and a bit more relaxed mids and treble. Mids and treble will be detailed but not analitical or cold.

What tips do you recommend?
I ordered already the JVC Spiral. Any foamies worth checking?

Do the tips somehow alter the sound? I would gladly check some which reduce the slight harshness a bit (yes, I'm that sensitive) - on the sureals the 2.5 are borderline to become sibilant.

Maybe a cable would smoothen the sound even more, but without loosing details?

Which 500? From what I see there are S, SX, T, TS, TSX.
How long they last? Are they as durable as the Shure Olives - can I wash them with water?
500 size, last like 6 months but will last ling but slightly not as tight as the first 6 months. But being not as tight will open the sound. Some will wash the comply and reuse.

Do you know if there are any fakes?
Because the only available for me (Europe) are from China and those are even cheaper.

At the price I paid and what they are generally listed for I doubt it. Do they appear to be the same?? Link??

You know a lot of major IEM manufacturers source their tips from these same suppliers. Noble for example.

I sourced mine in AU but you can bet your bottom dollar this guy got them from China.

What amp would be best suited for these?

Fiio A1 or A3?

Will be using it with a desktop computer and an ipod 5th gen (video)

Thanks

Imo any decent amp would do the job well with these 2.5 , for me personally actually even without any external amped , it sounds good on my HTC smart phone .

Ofcouse it would be different on the pc without a decent sound card onboard , but I'm pretty sure even without the use of external amped , it would sound good on your 5th gen ipod with its on board internal headphone amp .
