Thanks for the information. Any others...I see the turnaround on the DHC is 3-5 months. Looking for something with less of a build/wait time.
The YY PRO Audio is pure Copper, I use it as much as the DHC. It gives a bit more bottom end, more thicker sub bass. Mids are clear and treble extends.

YY PRO Audio Storm or Double Helix Cable Fusion.

Does the 2.5 us 0.75mm pins or 0.78mm (looking at the Turbulent Labs sale as my PW Audio silver cable crapped out about 2 weeks ago so back on stock at the moment)?

crapped out? What I know is these pins stays on, they dont slide out at all. Each 2.5 gets a cable and that cable never leaves.

Crapped out - lost sound in the left hand connector - swapped the cables across earpieces and it's definitely something in the cable (3.5mm end or the 2-pin end). No tell-tale cutouts first though - just literally stopped playing one day mid-song and no amount of movement can get it back to life.

Couldn't go down the warranty route as it was a second hand purchase on eBay so decided to just in on one of the Turbulent Naga Stealth cables in their sale - will see how that affects the sound on the 2.5 as I am missing the extra push the pure silver cable gave it up top, so hoping this will bring some of the improvement back over the stock cable. Never been a strong cable believer (or unbeliever either), but pure silver seemed to work for me the first time round so willing to give it another try with some SPC instead. Once it's on, it will more than likely stay on - don't like swapping out cables on any IEMs unless I absolutely have to, even the ones that have MMCX.

I had a pair of 2.5's where I thought one side died. After rolling with some other 2 pin cables I came to realize the cable that came with that 2.5 actually was somehow damaged and did not fit in.  This became more obvious when that pin started falling out of the IEM if i used it walkin around.

I used the 2 pin cable from some Chinese earbuds that had 2 pin connections until I got a replacement stock cable in. Now I have the @PETEREK cable on my gold 2.5 and I could not be happier.

I am usually pretty anti-cable changing but there's no question there's a noticable difference in this and the stock cable. I wish I had a second set of 2.5's around so I could do an actual blind test.

Could those of you with ASG 2'5's, could you check to see if your 2.5's have the serial number and ASG 2.5 etched on the case.

I bought a second set used, and they don't have the serial number like mine do.

No serial numbers on the 2 I've owned.

Sadly, asg g2 and g2.5 have dropped another notch down for me. They are now numbers 4 and 3 respectively on my favorite list. Maybe one further down. My new favorite top 5 is:

1. Tralucent Ref 1 (and Ref 1 Too)
2. Sony 800st (taped)
3. Sony Xb90ex
4. Asg g2.5
5. Asg g2

Not in order of bass, just overall as an iem in general.

The Sonys have really surprised me. Definitely amazing IEMS.
