Well I just got my Diana V2, and I realized I might have made a mistake.....the V2 makes my IEMs sound inferior  (except perhaps the i4). Just dug myself another rabbit hole (and perhaps a much deeper one )
Darn, everyone seems to be getting the Diana V2 except me... Did you get the stock pads or the modded ones?

The stock pads, as I bought a ready stock unit with my dealer. I was told it’s gonna take 4-6 weeks if I want to order V2 based on my request (I initially wanted the coffee color + DMS modded pads). Perhaps later on I‘ll contact Abyss directly to get the DMS pad. But so far so good, it’s very comfortable, the sound is also excellent, very natural, a bit warm and non-fatiguing details (gobs of details actually).

Sounds a bit like how I'd describe the Fourte Noir.

I’d love to listen to Noir one day. Is it similar to Trio?

I actually find it more similar to Nio, with better technicalities but a similarly thicker, warmer tonality. I'm not sure why some reviewers consider Trio to be a scaled-down Noir, that's not how I hear them at all. I'm busy writing a 4-way review between Nio, Trio, Fourte and Noir and will link it here when I'm done.

To the Nio? I’m just basing it off the N8 demo I had but that had waaay more upper mids and way less treble than the Noir

Yes I agree, they're not like for like, but the overall warmer/thicker tonality and the way the Nio colours the sound with its midbass is more reminiscent of Noir than Trio, which has a different, finally leaner bass presentation to both (but more energy and punch in the bass too - compared to Nio/Noir's slightly cushioned bass roundness).

A little yes and no lol but true the nio would give a closer glimpse of how noir sounds.

Tia trio is an iem that is just apart from every iem signature in 64a realm. They sit on their own signature and dont sou d like anything else. You may find similarities but they still unique to what they are.

I left trio for the noir because of the mids and its more forward presented like w shape and trio for me is u shaped.
Also there is more mid bass on noir then trio. And treble is less elevated on noir then trio.

Technically sayin if you love trio and nio you gonna go mad love with noirs. Just get thay perfect cable for them. They do change

The Tiger has spoken! It’s been a while since I had the Trio, but from memory, I don’t feel that the mids are recessed. If I recall, Trio’s mids are warm and inviting, has a lot more emotion compared to U12t and this is why I chose to get Trio. I also had a listen to OG Fourte but it was a long time ago, not long after it was launched, and I remember I couldn’t stand the treble

Nio is definitely closer to Noir (tonally not technically) than Trio. For me Trio is closer to the OG Fourte but with more bass and less treble (but zingier treble, if that makes sense).
