Thank you. I’m assuming focal edition has to go through focal? Not questyle? No difference. The only difference is who handles warranty issues.

so, are there anyone on here that knows how to get the black glass on a QP2R replaced, or is trying to get a hold of Questyle still daunting since their re-org awhile back...if anyone else had this issue, please tell me how you fixed your back panel (glass, plastic, etc.) . I was walking outta work and my headphone cable snagged on the door and the QP2R smacked the floor. Thank God it still works, but now I have a exposed back for the moment
There is a new USA distributor, Bluebird Music. I would reach out to them to see what we they can do for you.

Agreed on that. Ask the closest distrib/reseller, and if that doesn't help asking the manufacturer is the way to go. Unless Questyle accepts such inquiries directly.
Stay updated on iFi audio at their sponsor profile on Head-Fi.

Just a note, spoke to Bluebird Music quite awhile ago -- I think they will be more responsive and active regarding Questyle than the previous distrib.

The Verizon store where we get our cell phones also has a protective liquid you could use. It was pretty expensive, though. I think it was US$35. I had to but it because precut glass screen protectors weren't available for my ancient phone. Seems to have worked, though.Where can I buy glass protection film?
I can't get the DAC-mode to work on my QP2R, there's always some sort of crackling or static. I'm using the cable that came with the QP2R and tried with a similar cable for my phone. I have also tried both USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 slots on my laptop but that doesn't help either. Does anyone else have this problem or is there a specific cable that should solve this?

Hello friends,
I have the opportunity to buy one in gold. I buy my music, if i really like it. So no need for streaming support. Would you say the QP2R is still a good DAP to go in 2022?
Thank you!

Well you can get a used one pretty easily around 400 euro as they comeup on the forum. Don't waste your money on a new one that will have only 50% resale value if you don't like it.
