Well my dad and I have finished building my equipment rack and heres what she looks like. I plan to eventually replace the HD-DVD player with the Emotiva ERC-1. Right now the only thing it feeds a signal to is my MP-301, (which still isn't here yet ARGHHHH!). My Amphora is fed a signal by my iPods LOD. Combine this with a chair, cup of tea, and I'm set for life. And now the pics.

Now if that MP-301 would just get here. I have tubes ready to roll and I just cant wait. By the way, for those of you who helped me decide to sell my gear to pay for school, heres the update. I told my parents what I was doing and they had the exact opposite reaction I expected. They offered to pay for my schooling and begged me to stop selling my gear because they knew how much I loved my music. So after selling my RS1i and 325is, leaving me really only my Amphora, It's time to get back to work rebuilding my system. So up on the list, W1000 and ERC-1.

Your gear will last you years of enjoyment. it's nice your parents realized that losing it isn't worth it, and that a couple thousand dollars in hand will barely dent how much tuition and living will cost over the years.

After three weeks of work i've finished, this is my new speaker setup, they are DIY, based on a project i've found on a popular Italian forum, the drivers are a 12" bicone extended range coupled with a silk dome tweeter,

Cabinets are made of 25mm MDF fiber board, are 1m tall and weigh about 45Kg each.

Awesome setup Meliboeus, I particularly love the colour of the speaker cabinets. Would never even think to chose that myself, but it works really well.

Also, I will point out that the shiny laquered front of that cabinet behind makes it look a little like a TV screen, and I was about to also congratulate you on a magnificent Steampunk job, but no, it's just a pretty cabinet.

Duggeh, are you directing your question toward me? If so, then to answer your question, no. Is this something I should check out sometime?

Edit: Skylab, I didn't see you're post until after I asked my question. Your response confirms it then, I'll definitely have to pick up that album.
