Same, same... I think my job in operations research has something to do with my enjoyment of constrained optimization lol.

The part that took the most trial and error, believe it or not, was the shoulder bag. I went through ~20 camera bags, tactical bags, binocular bags, Nintendo Switch bags, designer bags, before settling on the Kanken Sling. From there, everything was rather easy.
You are so right...the bag selection is one of the most mind-searing tasks. A few months ago, I had to go through 4 different bags to fit my set up. It is so hard to contain these beasts and make them transportable it's not even funny. I understand your pain lol. Keep up the good work!!

Its funny, when I bought my first Fiio M11 (which was my first dedicated audio player since my iPod classic in 2007) I told myself "I'm not gonna be one of THOSE guys who have a stack of different devices and all that unneccessary extra gear", lol - well lo and behold I now own a dedicated headphone amp - also told myself at one point "custom cables are not necessary, as long as the cable isn't crap its fine" - and now I have an Artic Cable that is awesome - haha. As soon as you take one step in, the rabbit hole draws you down - gotta enjoy the ride!

How do you keep your Wm1a in such good condition with so much use?
HAHA! You should see the case! The case looks like it went through WW2!

Ah, haha. That's the secret. Case off for photos! Must be a good case, which do you use?
It's a Japanese case made for the WM1A and WM1Z that I picked-up in Japan while on vacation. I'm not sure if they are still sold? It's called a MUSASHINIO.

Ah, I don't think they are still sold. I was looking at the racks at e-earphone store when I was there a few weeks ago in Japan and didn't see any.
