Thanks! I'm an unashamed self-professed basshead, lol. So I love the Scarlets. I've tried a bunch of bass tilted IEMs and the FATFreq just do it right for me.

Good to hear! they are tops on my list to hear, and i am bassheaded as well.
I have heard they are the closest to a woofer in an IEM you can get.

I ordered a Musician set from them a while back. Going to try it as a kick around set for carrying with me and recording with some folks. It wont be the same bass, but then again my expensive IEM slot is kinda full. With the large bass eq i run on the rig i intend to use them with, maybe i can sample an idea of closeness to that bass uneq'd.

I don't think you'll be disappointed when you finally get your set for sure. They do sound more like a woofer than a tiny IEM driver. Hopefully the Musician set holds you over.

Beautiful day here on Long Island today. Doing a dap comparison between 1AM2 and R8II. No comparison. Hands down winner is R8II. More power, bass presence, soundstage, and everything. I wound up cutting a little more space for the 4.4 jack from the Hiby case and now I have no issues with any cable. Astral acoustics pulse really compliments the ravens nicely. Can’t really explain the difference between stock cable and this but it cleans up a little of the bloat without losing any top end sparkle.

Taking 3 days break from doing reviews and enjoying music with gears that I love. That illegally cheap $5 Venture Electronics ODO proved to be so well suited to serve as LO for my STAX SR-002 system. Perfect balance of analog musicality with analytical articulation. Hope you all had a great weekend too!

Can't remember the last time I posted in this thread, but I'm feeling really proud of my cable management skill tonight lol. Been putting together this portable system for a while now.

- The whole rig fits comfortably in a Kanken Sling bag.
- No pressure on any of the sockets when put into the bag. (the back side goes to the bottom of the bag)
- All controls face towards and are reachable from the top opening of the bag.
- No sacrifice of sound quality anywhere. (Supra ZAC toslink cable, Gotham GAC-1 Ultra Pro interconnect)
- Everything fastened and protected by velcro.
- Controlled by a smartphone. Hiby Link, Bluetooth, Airplay, DLNA all supported.

Its a shame LI is a part of NY. I grew up in Kings Park, but eventually NY taxes and overcrowding had me moving a few hundred miles west. Enjoy your day and the MUSIC
