Glad to be of help

.
Just sold my second T51 (a week ago) (new & only opened to  charge), it still amazes me, and strangely , Teclast has stopped making it and no replacement in sight

.
That's why my hopes are on the Fiio X3.

Yep, my T51 got stolen about 6 months ago and when i went to find a replacement there was virtually none on the internet anywhere that i could find, I ended up getting a J3 though, the UI is infinitely better, but man do i miss the T51 sound

Grado SR80i and iPod Video 5.5gen(Classic 5.5gen) 30gb

i take great care of both equipment, though im thinking of getting me an amp for my ipod and my Grado's
whom do you think would pair nicer? i favor a better soundstage, im not too much into Bass boosting.
PA2v2? or the Headroom Total Airhead(at least during its great sale)

^Plz Answer, need help. on tight budget for an amp

You won't regret the PA2V2. I had one and it paired beautifully with my SR60i and my 325is. Of course, curiosity got the better of me and I have since sold all of that off and now have a Headstage Arrow 4G, and a pair of Senn HD 25-1 ii....now working my way back to Grados.

The Fiio E11 is a better option if you can afford it. Good to see they've finally priced the Total Airhead at a price it's worth though (sub-par performance compared to many amps in its price class).

how would you think the TAH stands up to the PA2V2?

I had both (Total Bithead, but still comparable via line-in), and I would say they're about the same. I never really used the famous Headroom crossfeed (colored the sound too much). The form factor of the PA2V2 is much better, and the later versions have adjustable gain. Both are very warm, dark sounding amps. Just be aware.

You've got the wrong headphones if you're looking for better soundstage.....amp or no amp. That's not meant as Grado-bashing.....I had a lot of good times with my SR60i's.....but they give you an intimate presentation. It's like you are on stage in the middle of the band, instead of being 20 rows back in the crowd getting the full soundstage effect.

Just click on the small icon that looks like a painting, next to the icon for insert video. I did it for you so that others can see without having to follow your link...

Pretty good stuff by the way. Is it an iRiver H120 or H140? I've got a Rockboxed H120 and it's a great MP3 player!

Well, I've been a Headfi reader for some time so I figured I'd post my current setup.
Sony x1060, Sony Z1000 phones, c421amp (OPA2227) and an eBay line out cable from hong kong.
(amp isn't really needed with these cans, but still sounds good)

Just got the z1000's, so far I am liking them alot!

Thought I would add my ultra portable combo too. Sennheiser MX980's, best earbuds I've heard.
