Is the Sovos any good?

It's an excellent e-reader, accepting formats the Sonys don't - and in colour for a third of the price; it's a great movie player too - every film I've thrown on it plays well. It has an aluminium back and sides.

Music is pretty good, too - I have an 16Gb card in there.

This is my work in Progress:

Ipod 5g DIYmod. I just finished it yesterday and replaced the back and front plates. Looks good!

I am waiting for my LOD from
twisted cables before I can hear how this sounds. I will be listening to my new UM3X unamped until then, so that I can truly enjoy
the arrow (although I am making sure to burn it in) once the LOD comes in.

Comparison: New 5g back vs. My Classics back!

The setup so far. I will post pics once I get everything set up. I am loving the sound of the UM3X.

By the way, the battery life on the arrow is ridiculous. I have left this thing on all day and overnight since I received it saturday, I have only charged it once

I'm debating whether or not to keep rockbox on my 5g. I enjoy the interface, but there are too many issues still. Battery life is poor (harddrive is constantly running) and it takes forever to charge (forget about using my ac wall adapter). Considering I don't plan on using the Eq, good thing there is ALAC!

I have only had ue superfi 4vi and shure se210 so the the bass is definately more full than the se210 and the mids and highs are an improvement from the superfi. The soundstage is definitely wider than when not amped.

My latest portable combos, the Shadow+Nano and the Rx+ipod5.5, both joined by a whiplash LOD. It's quite impressive that the "ShaNo" drives the H-2:F1's quite respectably. Needless to say it also pairs well with my Se530's and the TF-10's (not pictured).
