Finish my portable setup. Now I only have to build a new lowest profile LOD.

That setup's cost is a bit ridiculous, especially for a non iMod!

I disagree completely. It makes him happy and and that alone makes the cost worth it. Plus I'm sure it sounds stellar even if he's not using an (IMO way overpriced) iMod.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it's a bad thing. I am very jealous.

I did, however, preorder a Mustang myself, but have yet to pay because I just purchased a Sennheiser IE8 and Ibasso T4. Which I will post pics of once they are in.

Well, actually it doesn't cost much as the iMod stuffs (v-cap,cables blah blah).
I got both the Nano and ESW10JPN on cashback programs so save about 150 or 200$

The cable is my DIY product, so save another 100$.
I'm very pleased with this setup, considering how much it costs

why do you need an imod?

imo, that setup sounds better than imod+Vcap+amp with any other portable cans than ESW10.

Heh, I think people are misinterpreting my post. I was just innocently conveying my jealousy really.

Although, by the time this month is up, I would have sunk at least $900 into portable audio stuff this month alone. It is quickly catching up to what I spent the last 11 months on headphone/audio gear since I joined HeadFi last December.

I am buying myself alot of Christmas gifts.

900$ would get you a very nice single ended B22

It's funny. I can justify buying many little things for that amount, but one item for that cost makes me quiver in fear.

Plus when you put it that way, I almost feel foolish for just not buying that one item!

Me too - the iPod Classic seems to get larger and larger every day that I carry it...
