Vytis - one of my favorite BC artists. Imagine a cross between Trentemoller and Kraftwerk, with a bit of Prince Jammy's influence tossed in. The music ranges from intelligent Techo to Minimal Dub. Everything on the page is available, and there's a lot there:

It seems that nobody has mentioned Etree (http://etree.org/) yet on this thread.

It's an online community whose purpose is to share, in FLAC only, recordings of live sets from artists who explicitly allow it. There's quite a list of bands, ranging from famous ones like 311, The Roots or Ryan Adams to lesser known ones.

The only downside is that they use Bittorrent for sharing the files, which some people may not yet be familiar with.

Lots of talks, access to mailing lists, FAQs, etc. on the front page. But the real deal is here, on the list of downloadable stuff : http://bt.etree.org/

I have some good Rock stuff for you and anyone interested!

Ulterium Records at least used to put out a sampler each year and they still have their 2013 sampler on bandcamp.

Here's some nice little rock tunes. It's heavier stuff. Actually haven't heard any of this but I have got their samplers from Amazon before and never get around to listening. Later I found out they are mostly on bandcamp too.

I have always been a great fan of Al Dimeola, especially his non acoustical albums.
His new Studio album will soon be available and also as a FLAC download

Sorry Yeahx, I was so enthusiastic about this recording that I overlooked the fact
that music mentioned in this topic had to be free of charge.
