I had a really nice PM from the bassist of 1 the bands today thanking me for linking their album. Apparently they've had loads of hits and downloads via this thread. I've had another like that before, must be referral links. It shouldn't shock me really given the the numbers of visitors that come here but it still does.
I didn't think of the promotion aspect when I started posting here, I post what I like or what I think others may like. Most of the time, I'm like an excited schoolkid shouting "You HAVE To hear this!"
My girlfriend says there's 4 great gifts you can give / share with someone - Life, Love, knowledge and then music.
