Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!

Just bought the Khan and having a great time so far

Is there a consensus on the best third-party tips for these? I'd prefer foam tips over silicon tips.

I don't think there is a consensus but for me Comply T-500 work best in my ear canals for comfort and isolation. I tried the Comply SmartCore but they only come in "medium", I really need a large.

Have you tried the white foams that with the Khan? I have the best luck with large and medium when it comes to it.

I have also heard good things about Dekoni tips. The guys came by our booth at RMAF and should update their site soon (if they have not already) with which tips fit the Khan.

Other than that, my favorite tips these days are medium - large double flang. Double flang seems too bring the best out of the DD life.

Let me know if I can help with anything else!

So just received the Noble M3 out on the Canadian Wet Coast. Initial impressions:

- really intimate sound. Not particularly deep or wide soundstage but really precise instrument placement.

- Bass is present and has nice texture but not a basshead presentation by any means

- mid range is pretty forward. I find male vocals a bit too hard edged (not deal breaking but noticable). Female vocals are more balanced and seem smoother to me. Bass doesn't bleed into the midrange at all.

- treble has nice air and no harshness. I really like the treble on these. Easily the star of the show for me.

Well... a machine runs 24 hours per day, never needs a bathroom break and doesn't bitch at you over wages.
Eventually more Savant II will be made.

Right now we are focusing on the M3, which takes a lot of time to build. After the M3 production cycle is finished then more Savants will be made.

Any idea on UK pricing? The £ is about to either bomb or rebound some time soon, not sure why?! :)

Feel like that depends on your local distributor more than the brand (Noble).

Most generally speaking (and that is very far from a rule), the dollar price gets converted to pounds and that’s your price

In my my experience, that’s more often than not the case yes. I can figure out VAT etc at my end but.....I still don’t know the price in USD :)

I’m not 100% sure exactly what it was but I think around 800 USD

I like the Dekoni tips also. If you get a chance listen to this youtube drum solo. Victor Jones is one of if not the best jazz drummer on earth! Listen to the rim shots and the sound of the zildjian cymbals, the dynamics are amazing even for youtube. Gonna post this on a couple of blogs.
