Folks, I realize it is a sensitive topic, but I am looking to change the stock cable on my Katana. The reason would be to primarily enhance the comfort. The memory wire with my glasses just isn't working out for me. I would prefer something without any memory effect. (For example, the Westone cables are very comfortable for me).

Secondarily, and optionally, if the cable will make the sound a bit warmer, I would like that as well.

Any thoughts and recommendations would be most appreciated.

I can highly recommend the Linum SuperBax in terms of comfort. It's light and soft. Once my Encores warm up to body temperature, I don't really notice either them or the cable at all. I'm not going to comment on the cables changing the sound bit as I'm not a believer...

I used a Linum SuperBax as well before going with a Bluetooth solution and they are quality cables, very very light and comfortable. Definitely another recommendation from me.

Interestingly the stock cables have pretty good synergy with the Noble IEMs. I’m actually thinking of having my stock cable re-terminated to 4.4mm? I have purchased aftermarket copper cables which didn’t improve the sound in the end.
