Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!

So I have been listening to the Massdrop Noble X's over the last week and they are tremendous, even more so for the price I paid used. This sound signature is very much what I am after. What IEM in the Noble line would be the logical step up? I appreciate your comments and recommendations.

Kinda depends on the sound signature you are looking for.

For example, you like the Noble x but wish it had more xxx xxx?

Once we know that, may be able to guide you a bit better

Perhaps a bit more resolution, slightly extended highs and deeper bass (but not overpowering). The soundstage is really good, but I always like more. I hope that helps.

Just posted my review of the very lovely Katana. Always loved the look and sound of these during audio shows but have never had a chance to really sit down with one of Noble's flagships in Australia. Luckily, but the Katana definitely delivers on treble extension, resolution and overall control. I hope you guys enjoy the review! Now on EverydayListening, THL and here on Head-Fi.

Sage better highs, lows about the same
Savanna lacking in lows, better highs, wider sound stage (great for acoustics/female vocals)

Dulce bass - coin toss as it is a genre type product
Django - coin toss as well

K10 - if u can find one, a bit warm nice highs excells with all genre
Encore, a bit more neutral than thr k10, excells with all genre
Katana, a bit more neutral than the encore, excells in all genre, and delivers more of a hi - fi soumd quality

Obviously they all have their trade offs
If u get a chance to listen to them, that would be ideal

Thanks, that helps a lot. I don’t know where I can listen, unless a tour starts, I find someone near Dayton or I do the buy used/resell thing. First test should be the Sage I think.

@ryanjsoo: I’ll gladly have a read of that, even if it’s at the risk of putting me back on the Encore / Katana fence. :)

From what I’ve read elsewhere I’m just about sold on the Encores.

Thank you, if your heart is set on Encore don't let me sway you!
