Same here, wearing them into work. And during work. And after work. And just before bed. I have a girlfriend and a job where I'm supposed to be managing a team and answering phones. Not sure how much longer I can get away with this until someone calls me out, but I'm gonna milk it as long as I can. I simply can't keep these out of my ears!

Work and girlfriend. Two areas that you neglect at your peril. Just sayin.

  For me, 2 Fridays ago in Hawaii UPS insisted on cash on delivery and FedEx always sends a bill at the end of the month.

I was excited to pick the K10s up from my front desk just to find out that they required payment for delivery. I had no idea what the charge was for and it seemed like it was for postage because the slip wasn't specific. I was able to pay over the phone the next day and have them waiting for me.

Still getting used to 'em, honestly.
 
I can't use 'em at work because I get lots of people stopping by my desk and it's a pain to take 'em in and out so they're only seeing use on my walks (~45min a day). They're leaps above anything I've listened to in the past but being out on the street I'm probably not getting the full effect of them.
 
Realizing my use case, in hindsight I should have gone with the 4s but oh well.

BEWARE: Personal rant follows. You have been warned.

 
All jokes aside: The K10 is worth $1600. To me, at least. Now before you start thinking that I'm completely off my rocker, let me explain: 

• I need to wear headphones all day. I'm an IT specialist and I take care of 1.000 retail stores which have 4-6 computers each. I keep an eye on those, keep everything running peachy, plan, automate and deploy upgrades and take care of nasty bugs. I don't mean to brag, but I'm actually pretty damn good at it. I also have ADHD (Attention Deficit HEY LOOK A SQUIRREL) and I'm particularly sensitive to sound. Someone walking past the office is a distraction. Someone rustling papers in the office is a distraction. So I need to block out all that stuff.
• Music helps me focus. Everybody thinks that ADD/ADHD means you can't focus on anything, ever. That's not true. I have a really hard time keeping focus on stuff that doesn't interest me, but once I dig into a problem I often experience what I call hyperfocus. Somebody once carried off a desk (including two monitors and a laptop) that was standing right next to mine and I didn't notice until I got up to fetch more coffee - I was lost to the world, hammering away in my text editor (Sublime Text 3 is the One True Way), scripting a way to fix an issue on 3.000 computers across the world without disturbing 3.000 users or knocking out the network. Music REALLY helps me achieve hyperfocus. 
• Due to #1 and #2 I notice small things. It's just the way I'm wired. Once something starts bugging me, I can't let it go. That's why, in a company with 18.500 employees, I am The Root Cause Guy. When 1st and 2nd level support have had a go, I'm the last line of defense. I'm the one who digs down, gets to the bottom of the case and solves it. It also means that if I notice something being "off" with my music, it completely ruins it for me. I've been through a good deal of headphones, amps and sources because of that. It's why the sublime comfort makes CIEMs my only option. It's why I am so in love with Linum cables and my A&K DAP. 
• My music taste is all over the place. Within the space of two hours I can go from Sumie to Skunk Anansie to Beethoven to Nine Inch Nails. Previously, that required a bunch of different headphones but now the K10 does it all and does it well. I demand perfect comfort and I demand a headphone that will handle anything and everything I throw at it. With the K10 I get all that, in one good-looking package that fits in my pocket. $1600 ain't bad when it replaces 4 other headphones. If my K10 was ever broken or stolen, I'd be ordering a new set the same day.

Coming from an array of cheap-ish IEMs and headphones to my brand new K10s, I think the cable is fine. It's at least as flexible as my cheap rubber and cloth-enclosed cables, and doesn't seem to get as tangled easily (still finds a way sometimes). Don't like the memory wire, but that's because it rubs against my glasses.

Not to charge ahead and defend myself....
 
But could u send a link to the review.  I ask because there has been two versions of the cable since the launch of Noble.   Version 1, had a "J" styled 3.5 mm jack, some folks didn't like it, I thought I was being a innovative pioneer

 
Then I got my I-Pad Air and found that the Version One cable was useless with it due to the fact it didnt work at all with the the I-Pad while the protective cover was on the I-Pad.
 
I found that to be anoying, so we now have Version Two of the cable, it no longer has a J plug, it has a small straight aluminum jacket for a 3.5mm jack.  I imagine it would work with most protective covers/jackets on the market today.
 
The "feel" of the cable is very soft, kind of like a shoe lace, and has a pull strength of over 150lbs.  It is an SPC cable, with kevlar woven among the strands.
