Noble Audio - the Wizard returns!

Personally, I like the memory cable. I find that it prevents the cable from tugging and rubbing against the top of my ear, which always created soreness with my last pair of iems. I'm sure I'd feel differently if I wore glasses though. Aside from the memory wire, I don't see how anyone could have an issue with the cable. To me, it's very light and soft yet feels sturdy, and the braid reduces microphonics.

I like the build of the stock Noble cables. They look sturdy, feel nice, and they come with a straight jack (I prefer them to right-angled ones). It's a shame that they come equipped with memory wire, which is something I really loathe. I tried to cut them out, but they are attached to the 2-pin connector housing. As I couldn't remove them completely, a little bit of the metal wire remains, and juts out of the housing.

Anyway, long story short, they look like a solid wire, and certainly better than some of the stock cables shipped with other companies' CIEMs.

Don't hear much about the Noble 5 (universal), but I really like mine. Using them with a Linum Bax Balanced cable from AK240, AK120 II and Glove Audion A1 (with AK100). It's too bad that this one has been so overlooked.

I thought I remembered you saying at one time that you didn't like how the Linum cable altered the sound of the K10. Do you think it was just placebo or did you change your mind? Thanks by the way for all your contributions to this thread. I'm loving Royksopp's latest album

I've moved on to the Linum Super Balanced

I was going to order a K10U out of my March bonus check, but they went unavailable for order around then. I will get them next March at the latest. Also. I just had to get Angie.

Finally got my 8C!!!! Fits like a glove and I'm very satisfied.... but.... I had to pay $33.75 for UPS shipping fee upfront.  Is this normal?  It was little unexpected..

Yes stated on the website.

I thought it was shipping included so I'm kind of disappointed in that aspect..  He clearly said it was for shipping and not duties... ???  My bad if I'm misunderstanding.

Please note that the amount you were charged by UPS was not for shipping, but was instead for customs, duties, taxes, and/or brokerage fees.

Hello Brannan,

Thank you so much for the clarification and I'm sorry for the misunderstanding!!

My pleasure and apologies if you were surprised by the fee. We have placed additional disclaimers in a few areas on our site and Sunny will also be communicating this directly to customers in her email containing tracking information.

Enjoy your 8C!
