Wooden Prestige is made completely of wood and wouldn't it be very costly business to carve another one completely because simply because fit is very uncomfortable?

They aren't. I'd risk even saying they're atrocious and toxic as a company. But this is the Noble thread so back on track.
 
K10 isn't a very impressive headphone. That is, it won't wow away the majority right away but shines when the listener can appreciate sound quality as a whole and not just some bumps and dips in the FR that makes a can sound 'velvety' or 'exciting.' It's very well-balanced in that nothing pokes out. It sacrifices nothing and does everything well. It won't 'specialize' in a genre because it wasn't meant to, but it will present sound that is just exquisite with any genre thrown at (except death metal because of speed). If you can listen for and appreciate imaging, layering, elegance, details, PRaT, 3D soundstage, separation, presentation, and coherency, you will like the K10. If you're looking for something exciting and just listen to one or two genres then maybe it's not for you.

I actually have the custom Roxannes and I dont like them as much as the JH13FP.

Though I do note that a friend of mine totally loves them so as usual YMMV. Me I go Noble. XD

 
Does the K10 have more or less overall bass presence than the JH13 fp?  I've assumed, from what I've read, that the K10 has more, which for me would put it too far from a neutral signature, as the JH13 fp is quite bassy, but very enjoyable, to me.  Anyway curious about the K10, as it seems to be the most accomplished tuning of the Noble line up, especially in treble from what I've read.

The K10 has a surprisingly neutral presentation, but whatever is in the music, K10 will let you hear it. Eyeball-rattling bass? Check. Highs that just go on forever without ever becoming sibilant? Check.
 
The K10  will not, however, add extra bass to your music, nor will it spike the treble to feign extra resolution.

Re-fits are not necessarily defined as a total re-build.   
 
But yes, the 30 day policy is also applied to the Prestige.

There have been numerous studies in regards to this question. The studies were performed by Westone, in conjunction with several colleges/audiology programs.  I've read over them and the conclusion seems to be, bite blocks provide more consistant results.
 
It isn't really a matter of being required, it more of a matter of increasing the odds of a proper fit.
